Among other software and hardware tools, Dataware uses hardware and software firewalls to protect our datacenter. By doing this, we are able to block all unauthorized access to our client’s servers. Only the ports which are necessary for a given server are open, and those ports are watched to ensure that they are not being abused.

When clients need access to their servers and applications from outside our datacenter, we support use of VPN connections. These fully encrypted connections ensure that information which is being sent and received by our clients is not open to anyone electronically eavesdropping.

If a client’s network exists completely outside of our datacenter, we are able to help with security and monitoring for that network as well. By installing remote monitoring software, we can provide clients with round-the-clock protection of their networks.
