About Dataware Services
Dataware Services, LLC (Dataware) is a privately-owned South Dakota company which was incorporated in September of 2001. We currently operate one of the largest public data centers in South Dakota--providing
hosting, backup, monitoring and related services to a variety of public and private companies as well as government contractors and agencies.
Facility
Our primary data center facility is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This facility benefits from extensive human as well as hardware and software security systems. We have a battery backup system which is supported by a dedicated diesel generator. A dry fire-suppression system is also in place to ensure that equipment is protected from moisture in the event of a fire. Our data center is connected to the Internet backbone via two telecommunications providers, giving us full redundancy should one of those providers go entirely offline.
We are currently building a second data center (which will provide additional capacity for our clients as well as redundancy via data mirroring between data centers). This second data center is located near Yankton, South Dakota. As of this time, we anticipate going live with the new facility in May 2010.
We are glad to be expanding our services here in the upper Midwest--knowing that the expansion will be of benefit to our current clients and our future clients, as well.
